Radiant Heaters

Infrared radiation consists of magnetic waves at a frequency that is invisible to the naked eye, but which we feel as warmth on our skin. 

The frequency of the waves emitted by the carbon and special halogen heating elements enables our skin to absorb over 4 times more heat than another other product using a quartz element or an ordinary halogen lamp. The amount of heat perceived by the user is actually 4 times greater than with an ordinary heater.

Convection Heaters

The air comes into contact with the heating element or the surface of the panel. The air's temperature thus rises, generating a natural convection flow.  

This category of heaters includes convection heaters and radiant panel heaters. These appliances heat the environment noiselessly and without emitting light:  

they are therefore ideal for the bedroom (quiet, no light emitted) or rooms where draughts are not desirable (powders or extremely volatile substances, or other factors).

Fan Heaters

PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) fan heaters have ceramic heating elements. 

The use of this material enables the appliance to be self-regulating to reduce energy use: the lower the room temperature the more heat the appliance emits. As the temperature increases, the element automatically reduces its output and therefore power consumption, for energy saving.

Electric blankets

A blanket with a heating element woven into the fabric, which heats it and diffuses warmth through the bed.

The heat is absorbed by the mattress and the blankets and then released to warm the body.

Gas heaters

These heaters function both by the heat produced by burning the gas and via the infrared radiation emitted by the ceramic surfaces of the burner.

The hot air generated by the burner rises to create a natural convection flow, which combines with the infrared radiant heating effect. The heat is both diffused into the room and radiated onto the relevant area in a few moments, with light also emitted. 

No flue is required for the combustion gases.

Oil radiators

The heat is diffused by natural convection, and therefore noiselessly and without emitting light.

As well as the heat generated by the oil-immersed electrical heating element, the oil radiator also emits infrared radiation, which heats surfaces to increase thermal output.
